Mini Spa At Home

Stay At Home sounded good until we realized we could not enjoy some of the simple things we are use to doing. Pedicure, haircuts, or a day at the spa! Not to worry there are a few things you can do to have a mini spa experience at home:

1. Make your own face and body scrub, there are plenty recipes depending on what you have at in the pantry? Most scrubs call for sugar, Epsom salt, coconut oil, olive oil, raw honey, etc. All items you could have or can easily pick up on that next market run. Just research your recipe first so you can make sure you have all your ingredients. If you think it maybe too hard to make your own beauty products, no worries plenty of products out there. There are many great products at Trader joes, CVS, Big Lots, even the Dollar Tree, just depend what you are looking for and your budget. Trader Joe’s has a great variety of face and body scrubs, facial serum, and even lip balm.

2. Manicure and Pedicure you want to have that spa experience pick up a pair of moisturizing gloves and foot massager they usually run under $30. You can find at Target, CVS, or Big Lots. Use a lovely smelling lotion for your hands and any kind of Epsom salts for your feet. You can pick nail files, clippers, and pumice rocks at any discount store stay on budget!

3. If you don’t already have an essential oil diffuser this is a nice touch to add as they are very relaxing. Eucalyptus, mint, or lavender all great choices to set the mood. Depending on where you go could run you between $10-$30 at most store.

4. Lastly prepare yourself either a cold brew tea or a pitcher of ice cold water with fruits or lemon to enjoy while you are having your mini experience. Put on your robe and flip flops enjoy your day!
